Amy's Creative Side once again is hosting the Bloggers' Quilt Festival.
The quilt is called, "Circles in Heaven". The design is from a book call "Chinese Lattice Designs with over 1200 illustrations" by Daniel Sheets Dye page 461, the symbol "...is an allover of the interlocked circle of heaven, where the hollow square simulates the square of earth." I chose to make 8 of these because in Chinese, the number 8 signifies prosperity and wealth.
This quilt is hand appliqued and hand quilted and the fabrics consists of two Batik fabrics.
Enjoy and thanks for visiting.

man, wouldn't it be crazy if the quilt festival is like a pool tournament, where there is all kinds of sharking & sandbagging involved? i wouldn't want to see that happen, but, man, there'd be some crazy blog posts for sure.
That would be really funny if a quilt festival is like a pool tournament. Maybe some quilters will also end up knocking each other out.
Wow can't believe you made this by hand. great job! I like this pattern - so intricate.
Lyanna, Thanks for visiting. Love your quilt too.
Beautiful! It's perfect! I think I have that book. What a great inspiration for a quilt!
