December 26 2012,
On Christmas day I heard from a local t.v. station that Panera Bread is opening a "community cafe" in downtown Boston that does not require their customer to pay, but instead donate what they can. This is part of the Panera Care's foundation call Panera Cares.
Isn't it a great concept? Yes, there are people who will take advantage of it, but in the most part, it will help the community.
Currently there are four locations: Clayton, MO; Dearborn, MI; Portland, OR; Chicago, IL.
Panera Bread has one of the best asian sesame chicken salad, the sauce is to die for. Panera has made the recipe available, you can see it here.
What do you think of this idea?
Hope your Christmas was full of love and warmth.
