I was cleaning up my photos from my camera and phone and found these pictures.
These pictures are from last year when I did a field trip to the Isabella Stewart Gardner, it was the first week in December, because BoA "Museum on Us", which means free entry into some museums if you bank with 'em.
I'm pretty sure I also went to the MFA, I have to find the pictures of that.
My first stop at 8:30 AM was my favorite dim sum place in Boston, called Hei La Moon. Going clockwise from the tea pot, I ordered Pai Kuat (pork ribs), Tofu Skin Rolls, Ha Chong (Shrimp wrapped with noodles). Perfect for one person.
I tried making the Ha Chong about a month ago, it was partly a success... by the fourth roll, the noodles weren't going the way it was suppose to. Below is my version.

Continuing onto Isabella Stewart Gardner. The last time I was there was probably 15 - 20 years ago. It hasn't changed much, except for the new extension.
On display there was an exhibition called "Common Threads".
Below is "Standard Incomparable" organized by Helen Mirra.
Below, "The Great Bare Mat".
This below is an awesome piece, called "Many Came Back" by El Anatsui. He works and lives in Ghana and Nigeria.
"The Mending Project" by Lee Mingwei.
Oh so pretty the sewing threads.
