Two weekends ago I went to the Wayside Quilters Guild quilt show. Below are a few of my favorite quilts that were displayed.

Aren't they all just spectacular? My camera skills do not give justice to these quilts, they are even better in person. Even if you are not into quilts, if you do stumble upon a quilt show in your passing, stop by and enjoy the show. Admire the detail, the colors, the techniques.

i see some colors i want to put on my cue!
What colors would they be?
warm fuzzies... these pretty quilts made my day... :-)
the light gold from the last pic...and the pale green from the chiascuro...
the light gold would be the points, the pale green the veneers. set it on a dark forearm...man...i would totally buy it.
but there are no woods i know of with those natural colors! you'd have to stain them... :(
The pale green would be interesting... that would be beautiful!!! What color would be the forearm?
dark. either ebony or a really dark red, highly figured cocobolo. (a lot of cocobolo forearms are orange; that won't look good with pale gold & pale green.) i think that'd be awesome.
