Cheesy title, but it works.
We are experiencing the hurricane right now. In our area, there has been minor flooding, small tree limbs and small branches coming down.
Our sump pump is working, the patio table and umbrella are in the shed, my little frog statue is in the garage.
The only thing that has happened so far was a bird flew into our window which startled me, luckily it did survive the crash and flew away.
I am looking outside the window and watching the really tall trees on my neighbor's yard swaying back and forth. I think if it falls, it'll just miss our house. Fingers and toes crossed.
Interestingly there are a lot of birds hanging around our yard, they must be waiting out the storm too.

I once knew an Irene... why do Asian parents name their kids names that the parent's can't pronounce? I'm a clear example of that. My dad does not pronounce my name correctly... maybe because he really didn't have much of a say. :)
