Last year I made a headboard and since then it's been installed. Below are the pictures of the final product in it's place.
After much success with the first wood working project, hubby insisted I make something for the fireplace hole in the basement.
We have never used the fireplace in the basement, nor the one in the living room, so to fill in the hole, we decided to make another board. Below is the picture of the basement area right after we moved in, almost 3 years ago.
Below is the fireplace board in it's place. This thing was so heavy that we had to recruit our neighbor to help carry this mofo downstairs.
