So one side of the quilt is finally done, right on schedule. This piece measures 84" x 97" - but will be used as the back of the quilt. So the finish size will be apporoximately 78" x 91". You don't really see the whole quilt in the picture below, there is 20" that is tucked behind the quilt so that it fits the wall and the wood that this piece is draping over.
We are having guests the next few weeks or so. That means I can't get started on the other side of the quilt until everything settles down. I hate putting things away when I am in the middle of a project, it's a waste of time to have to "hide" everything from guests and then bring everything back out and restart the project. It requires too much thinking and energy.
Five of my quilts will be going to shows in the month or so, and this wall will be bare. I decided to just hang this piece while waiting for the quilts to return.
I've yet to name this piece. Any ideas?
