Sitting Pretty : Barrett Jackson Northeast 2018 : Part I
Sitting Pretty : Barrett Jackson Northeast 2018 : Part II
Went to Barrett-Jackson Northeast this past Wednesday. Tickets were $40.00 each on site. Online they listed it for $20.00 if you buy before the event. This does not include the service fee, Facility Charge, Order Process Fee, which totals to an additional $13.00 (if I remember correctly). It advertised that it was $35.00 if you bought the ticket at the venue. Turns out that they jacked it up to $40.00 on location (guess it may be the $5.00 facility charge. Yes the fine print did say, "Prices are subject to change"... not happy about the price increase or the additional charge. Everybody's gotta make a buck or two. Still not happy, left us a sour taste about the event organizer.
We spent about 2.5 hours there. We were greeted by exhibitors in the first part of the event, and then by cars within the conference venue. Outside there was more vendors / exhibitors and another tent with cars. Then we looked at the map and figured out that there was a parking garage full of additional cars. Glad we did not miss that area.
Note that I have no idea what cars are what. My main interest in going is to look at the cars and look at it in terms of an art form. Some of the cars are absolutely beautiful. The colors, the lines, the grills.
Enjoy.
Below is a vehicle or a a machine that would be perfect to drive when there is traffic around town. You just drive right through other vehicles.
The car had a beautifully quilted interior.
I love rims. I find rims very beautiful.
More soon.
