The rest of the time, we hung out with our friends. Darryl drove us everywhere. Since he moved to Texas, about 4.75 years ago, he's never really seen the sights and sounds. So he became a tourist like us.

One was a flea market. It was interesting. A quarter of the places sold women's clothing, another quarter sold quincenera dresses, another quarter sold boots, and the other quarter sold knick knacks. When we walk down one row of stalls, you've basically seen them all.

Of course we need to go to Fort Worth when you are in Texas. We went on a weekday, nothing much was happening.

What I learned from this trip was how to patch an air mattress. Don't bother calling or driving around places that sell air mattress - they don't sell air mattress repair kits. You need to home depot and buy the vinyl pool patch kit and gorilla tape. Apply the vinyl pool patch kit and then use the Gorilla clear repair tape over it.

One more tip, if you are going to use an air mattress, blow it up while the stores are still open. Just in case you have a leak - you can still go out and get the patch kit.

One more thing that I learned, good friends are hard to come by.
