Show + Tell :: Boston Bruins Quilt

July 11 2011,

"It's not hard if you're playing in the paint ... It's an easy save for me, but if you're wandering out and aggressive like he does, that's going to happen. He might make some saves that I won't, but in a case like that, we want to take advantage of a bounce like that and make sure we're in a good position to bury those." - Robert Luongo (Canadian Canuck goalie) speaks about Tim Thomas (Boston Bruin's goalie).

In a tribute to the Boston Bruins for winning the 2012 Stanley Cup, I made a quilt. This quilt was based from a quilt I saw in a book call "City Quilts" by Cherri House. In the book, the quilt was called "City Shops".

How about those Boston Bruins?

Thanks! I just bought fabrics with the red sox colors - so that's one of my next projects.

Bed quilts can double up as a wall hanging, if one has the wall space. Depending on the color scheme of the room (which we don't have one just yet) - a bed quilt can make a statement... and yes, you are weird.
