A few years ago, I kept a log of things I did over the summer - that was the summer of 2015. Tomorrow is the unofficial start to summer. I will try to do one thing each week that is fun, different, adventurous. So follow me on a journey this summer to see what I'm doing and what I'm seeing and what I'm experiencing.
I kicked off the summer by going to the Fuller Craft museum in Brockton, MA. On exhibition is "Circular Abstraction: Bull;s Eye Quilt" curated by Nancy Crow.

This one below is by Stacey Lee Webber entitled Circular Saw, 2016. This is made with copper pennies. Isn't that awesome?
I also came across a Michael James quilt entitled "Interference Effect: (Betrayed) Lover's Knot #1, 2004.
This below is a paper cutting by Stefan Thiebl, entitled "Europa Center" 2001.
Below are wood pieces made to look like quilts. These are by Laura Petrovich-Cheney. This collection is call "What Remains".
The dog below is by Leo Sewell.
Are we inspired yet?
Happy Summer!
