'Nuf Said :: Found but Lost

June 5 2018,

This past weekend hubby needed a blazer for an event. He went to the guest bedroom and looked through his clothes.

He called me into the bedroom and asked me why there was a set of clothes that was not his.

I answered, "How do I know."

Because we were in a hurry, I couldn't look at it more closely. I also offhandedly said that I had not been having a guy stay in this room behind his back. Hubby gives me a look of something along the lines of "Yah right," but didn't say anything.

When we got home later that night, we looked closely at the clothing. It definitely was not hubby's. Interestingly it had a white paper over the shoulder of the suit jacket indicating that it was cleaned at a local cleaner that I had only used once before. It did not look crisp, but instead worn and hung back onto the hanger. The shirt, ties and pants were on one hanger, and on another hanger, a blazer and a khaki pant. If it was cleaned, it wouldn't have been hung onto the same hanger, but instead individual hangers.

I went through my Rolodex in my head trying to think of all the guys who had stayed with us for the past few years. I have texted one person but have not gotten answer yet. Hopefully it is his.

Note - hubby gave me that "yah right" look as a joke.

Update : The person whom I texted actually called and told me that it was indeed his. Mystery solved. Interestingly, he was in that room about 2 - 3 years ago, even though we saw him a few months ago. I guess he did not miss his clothes.
