In the nick of time.
I just finished this piece, in time to submit it for sale at my quilt show.
Machine pieced and hand quilted. Hand quilted with Aurifil 12 weight and 50 weight. I used the left over silk batting from the king size, yet to be quilted, quilt... and it quilted beautifully and easily.
I am still waiting for calluses on my left middle finger.
Inspiration again came from Bosna and Gee Bend's quilts. It is similar to the this quilt "The Calling".
