Fine, it's not the most creative title "August Update Continued", but here goes.

Went to the specialist yesterday to see how I was progressing with the fractured knee cap. This doctor said it looks like the knee may have been shattered in three places, instead of the original two. He continues to say that it is on it's way to healing.

He also noted that I should be wearing the knee immobilizer or crutches or something. He did not like the fact that I was limping around. The only thing I should not do is fall on my knees during this time of healing.

I was smart enough this time to snap pictures of the xrays.

Aren't they pretty?

The next check-up is in two weeks. I can now bend, but I can't lift my legs up quite easily, which means I still can't drive. So I have one exercise that I'm suppose to do to awaken my biceps in my right leg. The doctor explained that after the fall, the muscle shut itself down to protect the knee. And now, I have to wake it up and tell it that it's ok to start working again. Isn't that fascinating? If I lie on my side, I'm able to do the movement, but sitting up, I'm unable to. The doctor said that was gravity. Ahhhhhhhhh.

What should I binge on NetFlix next? I've binged on "The O/A", which was funky... not my usual type of show, but it was good and "The Fall" with Gillian Andersen which was good.

Back to hand sewing and binging on TV and food, I may even try machine piecing in the next few days.

Stay tuned to my mis-adventure.
